About
The world of real estate has been a wild ride for me. Armed with zero knowledge at all, aside from the prescribed classes and passing a test, I hit the ground running, and never looked back. In my first year in real estate, I closed 17 transactions. In year four, I reached my ten year goal of cracking the top 5% of the South Central Wisconsin MLS in terms of volume. I also got my broker’s license that year, just because I could. I was chosen from all the realtors in Wisconsin as one of three Top Producers, and presented in a panel at the 2018 Realtors Convention.
I believe much of my success in real estate is seated in the fact that I don’t believe real estate is a sales industry. Instead, I understand that being a realtor is a service job, and strive to serve my clients to the very best of my ability. With the strong backing of my brokerage, my sense of humor, and the belief that Realtors don’t sell homes, they help their friends realize their dreams, I have helped hundreds of people successfully buy and sell homes.
I believe in sharing my time and talent with those around me. I sit on the boards of several local non-profits, including a mental health and addictions golf outing, a social services annual ball, and a pet rescue; I served three years on the board of directors for the Realtors Association, I work with my local community outreach, I volunteer with the local swim and dive teams at major meets, and am the lifeguard captain for Ironman Wisconsin.
I am an alumnus of THE Ohio State University, and credit my English degree with my penchant for precise spelling, punctuation, and syntax. I (and my ten adopted dogs) are strong advocates for animal rescue.
My dream job is selling homes to amazing friends, and finding homes for homeless dogs. I am lucky to be able to realize my dreams every day.
